TRUTH IS FREE; so is my RETREAT --Vermont

topic posted Mon, November 5, 2007 - 9:45 AM by  Bald Mountai...
I'm looking to network with folks, to extend an invitation to visit Bald Mountain Retreat (www.baldmountainretreat.com) as my guest. Like-minded people who appreciate rustic accommodations are welcome to come up at no charge. (Those who require a private room can inquire about those accommodations as well.)
Basically, I'm offering people the opportunity to come stay with a retired naturopathic doctor in a truly amazing natural setting, secluded, idyllic, peaceful...
Also, if you might like to lead a retreat, please contact me.
Thank you and you are welcome,
Dr David

I am wondering why you are offering this to people free of charge? not to be mistrusting, but it is pretty unusual, and i am wondering what you get out of it. i would think that you must have big expenses that need to be covered for a place like you have. it is very beautiful, indeed.

Thank you for wondering. The expenses aren't really that big, and having folks come visit doesn't make them any larger. I don't mind charging for my doctoring for those who need it and can afford to pay, but good people just visiting are good for the retreat... not too many people up where I am. I think this world needs some "unusual" activities as an antidote to the same old capitalist madness. We is stronger than me. I want the retreat to be more than a business, other than a business. the universe will provide.
